Poolife Super Algae Bomb 60 (1 qt)

Poolife Super AlgaeBomb 60 Algaecide is the strongest algaecide that Poolife offers. This can be used to treat algae outbreaks as well as help prevent algae growth. The non foaming formula makes it a great choice for all pools.

Visible Algae:

11 to 17 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water.

Maintenance Dose:

2 to 4 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water every 5 to 7 days.

Freshly Filled/Cleaned Pools

6 to 11 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water.

For maximum effectiveness, pool, spas, whirlpools, hot tubs, decorative fountains and synthetically lined pond containing heavy growth of algae should be cleaned prior to using this product.

For pools having just visible algae growth, add an initial dose of 11 to 17 fluid ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of water and remove settled algae debris by cleaning.

Subsequent additions of 2 to 4 fluid ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of water should be made every 5 to 7 days after initial treatment for maintenance.

For Treatment of a freshly cleaned or filled pool, add initially 6 to 11 fluid ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of water.

Spa whirlpools, hot tubs, decretive fountains and synthetically lined ponds having just visible algae growth require an initial dose of 0.5 to 1 fluid ounce of this product per 500 gallons of water. For treatment of freshly cleaned and filled spas, whirlpools, hot tub, decretive fountain or synthetically lined ponds, add initially 0.3 to 0.5 fluid ounces per 500 gallons of water. Subsequent additions of 0.5 to 0.8 fluid ounces of this product should be made every 5 to 7 days after initial treatment for maintenance.

This product will prevent the growth of most algae during the off-season winter months when the pools are not in use. For pools which have been properly treated during the swimming season and are free of visible algae, add 7 to 11 fluid ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of water. If at the end of the swimming season pools have some visible algae growth, add 13 to 19 fl oz of this product per 10,000 gallons of water.
