SpaGuard Rapid Dissolve Stain and Scale Tabs (1.25 lb)

SpaGuard Rapid-Dissolve Stain and Scale Tabs will help protect your spa surfaces and equipment by preventing future scale formations. Use these tabs to prevent stains caused by iron, copper, and manganese. Just one bottle of the SpaGuard Rapid-Dissolve Stain and Scale Tabs can treat spa water for over 12 weeks.

Add 1 tab per 300 gallons of spa water.

To Prevent and Remove Stains and Scale:

1. Clean filter according to label directions for your type of filter using a chemical filter cleaner.
2. Weekly application of 1 tab per 300 gallons is recommended to prevent scale and stains. With a gloved hand, apply tablet(s) directly into the filter compartment, with jet operating.
3. Some existing stains may be removed by brushing stain with spa or swim spa brush after application of SpaGuard Rapid Dissolve Stain and Scale Tabs.
4. Clean filter with a cleaner every 30 days.

Spa Maintenance Tips:

1. Test spa water a minimum of once per week.
2. Maintain pH between 7.2-7.6.
3. Keep total alkalinity at 125-150 ppm, and calcium hardness between 100-200 ppm.
4. Drain, clean, and refill spas and hot tubs every 90 days, or according to manufacturer's recommendation.
5. Use BioGuard Off the Wall surface cleaner to clean spa surfaces.
6. Rinse filters and use SpaGuard Filter Cleaner once every 30 days.
